OVERVIEW

TB Creative ("we", "us", "our") is a Brisbane-based art studio run by Tessa Blaby. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

By using this website you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant features.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We only collect what we need to respond to you and fulfil your orders:

• Contact details you provide through our contact form or by email, such as your name, email address and message.
• Order details when you make a purchase, including your name, shipping address, email and the items ordered.
• Payment information, which is collected and processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Photos you upload to our "See It In Your Space" room visualiser (see the dedicated section below).
• Basic technical data your browser sends automatically, such as device and browser type, used to keep the site working.

THE "SEE IT IN YOUR SPACE" AI VISUALISER

Our room visualiser lets you upload a photo of your wall and uses artificial intelligence to show how an artwork might look in your space. We want to be completely transparent about how this works.

• When you generate a preview, the photo you upload is sent to a third-party AI provider (Google, via the Gemini API) to create the image. This processing happens outside Australia.
• The photo is used only to generate your preview. TB Creative does not store, keep, or reuse your photo after the preview is created, and we never sell it or use it for marketing.
• Google processes the image to return a result and handles it under its own API terms. We use Google's paid API tier, under which uploaded content is not used to train its models.
• The generated preview is shown only to you in your browser. If you download it, that copy is saved to your own device.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• Process, produce and deliver your orders.
• Generate your room visualiser previews when you choose to use that feature.
• Keep the website secure and running properly.
• Send order-related updates, and — only if you have opted in — occasional news about new work.

SERVICE PROVIDERS WE SHARE WITH

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the studio, and only to the extent needed:

• Stripe — secure payment processing.
• Google (Gemini API) — generating your room visualiser previews.
• Our print and fulfilment partner — producing and shipping your order.
• Netlify — website hosting and delivery.

Some of these providers are based overseas, which means your information may be processed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled securely.

COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

This site uses your browser's local storage to remember the contents of your shopping cart between pages. This stays on your device and is not used to track you across other websites.

DATA RETENTION & SECURITY

We keep order and enquiry records only as long as we need them for the purposes above or to meet our legal and tax obligations, then securely remove them. Photos uploaded to the visualiser are not retained by us at all.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from any updates at any time. To make a request, or if you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us using the details below.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised. Significant changes will be reflected here.
